IB Accreditation: A New Chapter in Education Begins

2025年2月20日，三亚外国语学校附属第二幼儿园迎来历史性时刻——国际文凭组织（IBO）正式授予我校IB-PYP（国际文凭小学项目）授权证书，标志着我园正式跻身全球5000余所IB世界学校行列！

On February 20, 2025, Sanya Foreign Language School No.2 Kindergarten celebrated a historic moment – the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) officially granted our school the IB-PYP (Primary Years Programme) authorization certificate, marking our kindergarten’s formal inclusion in the global network of over 5,000 IB World Schools!

IB-PYP项目是专为3-12岁儿童设计的国际教育课程体系，以“探究式学习”为核心，打破学科壁垒，培养孩子的批判性思维、跨文化理解力、社会责任感及终身学习能力。

自2023年成为IB候选学校以来，我校历经严格的审核流程，包括课程体系搭建、师资力量培训、教学实践优化及IB官方授权访问，最终以卓越的教育理念和扎实的教学实践赢得IBO的高度认可。

The IB-PYP program is an international educational curriculum designed for children aged 3-12, with inquiry-based learning at its core. It breaks down subject barriers and nurtures critical thinking, cross-cultural understanding, social responsibility, and lifelong learning skills.

Since becoming an IB candidate school in 2023, our school has gone through a rigorous review process, including curriculum development, teacher training, optimization of teaching practices, and an official IB authorization visit. In the end, we earned high recognition from the IBO for our outstanding educational philosophy and solid teaching practices.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAM

根据IB-PYP项目的理念与框架，我园设立了六大超学科主题作为探究课程的核心，并通过日常的教学与生活实践，培养孩子们的十大学习者特质与五大技能。

我们将IB-PYP的课程与本土文化、自然教育相结合，打造出富有地方特色的课程体系，注重孩子的全面发展与实践能力。

In line with the IB-PYP philosophy and framework, our kindergarten has established six transdisciplinary themes as the core of the inquiry curriculum, fostering the ten learner profile attributes and five skills in children through daily teaching and routine practices.

We integrate the IB-PYP curriculum with local culture and natural education to create a unique curriculum system with local characteristics, focusing on the holistic development and practical skills of children.

With immense pride, we announce that Sanya Foreign Language School No. 2 Kindergarten has officially been authorized as an IB World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)! Through the internationally renowned PYP framework, we are committed to laying a robust foundation for children’s lifelong development, empowering them to become future leaders with critical thinking skills and a global mindset.
