PYP Parent Workshop: Shaping the Future Together

         2025年1月3日，三亚外国语附属第二幼儿园举行了关于校园政策的第五期家长工作坊，涵盖了评估政策、语言政策、学术诚信政策、协作政策、全纳政策以及入学政策等多个方面。此次培训旨在帮助家长们深入理解学校的各项政策，增强家校合作，共同为孩子们提供更好的教育支持。

         On January 3^rd, 2025, Sanya Foreign Language School No.2 Kindergarten held a parent workshop on campus policies, covering various aspects such as assessment policy, language policy, academic honesty policy, collaboration policy, inclusion policy, and admission policy. The purpose of this training was to help parents gain a deeper understanding of the school’s policies, enhance home-school collaboration, and jointly provide better educational support for the children.

         在本次工作坊中，家长们首先通过阅读学校的各项政策文件，详细了解了学校在评估、语言、学术诚信等方面的具体要求和执行标准。随后，大家围绕这些政策展开了热烈的讨论和分享，结合孩子们的实际情况，提出了许多建设性的意见与建议。

         During the workshop, parents first read the school’s policy documents to gain a detailed understanding of the school’s specific requirements and implementation standards in areas such as assessment, language, academic integrity, and more. Following this, they engaged in lively discussions and shared their insights, offering constructive suggestions based on their children’s actual experiences.

         家长们特别肯定了学校在学术诚信政策方面的做法，认为学校在鼓励孩子们诚实守信、尊重他人以及培养良好行为习惯方面做得非常出色。家长们表示，学校的学术诚信政策不仅帮助孩子们树立了正确的价值观，还为他们未来的学术道路打下了坚实的基础。

         Parents particularly praised the school’s academic honesty policy, believing that the school has done an excellent job in encouraging children to be honest, respectful, and to cultivate good behavioral habits. Parents expressed that the school’s academic honesty policy has not only helped children develop the right values but also laid a solid foundation for their future academic endeavors.

         在语言政策方面，家长们也分享了很多实际经验，认为学校通过双语教育促进了孩子们的语言能力发展，尤其是在英语学习上，孩子们的听说能力有了显著提升。家长们纷纷表示，学校的语言政策为孩子们提供了多语言的学习环境，培养了他们的全球视野。

         In terms of the language policy, parents also shared many practical experiences, believing that the school’s bilingual education has greatly enhanced their children’s language development, especially in terms of listening and speaking skills in English. Parents expressed that the school’s language policy has created a multilingual learning environment for the children, broadening their global perspective.

         家长们还对学校的评估政策给予了高度评价。许多家长表示，学校的评估政策不仅关注孩子们的学术表现，还重视他们的个性发展和综合素养。通过形成性评估和多维度的反馈，孩子们能够在成长的过程中逐步发现自己的优点和不足，从而得到更具针对性的支持与帮助。家长们认为，这种个性化、全面的评估方式不仅让孩子们能够在无压力的环境中进步，还帮助他们培养了自我反思的能力，对孩子未来的学习生活大有裨益。

         Parents also highly praised the school’s assessment policy. Many parents expressed that the assessment policy not only focuses on their children’s academic performance but also emphasizes their personal development and overall competencies. Through formative assessments and multi-dimensional feedback, children are able to gradually discover their strengths and weaknesses, receiving more targeted support and assistance. Parents believe that this personalized and holistic assessment approach not only helps children progress in a low-pressure environment but also cultivates their ability to self-reflect, which will greatly benefit their future learning experiences.

         此次家长工作坊不仅让家长们更全面地了解了学校的各项政策，也为家长和学校之间的沟通搭建了一个更好的平台。家长们表示，他们将更加支持学校的政策，并与学校密切合作，共同关注孩子的成长与发展。

         This parent workshop not only provided parents with a more comprehensive understanding of the school’s various policies but also created a better platform for communication between parents and the school. Parents expressed their strong support for the school’s policies and pledged to collaborate closely with the school in caring for their children’s growth and development.

         三亚外国语附属第二幼儿园将继续通过类似的家长工作坊，加强家校合作，推动各项教育政策的有效落实，为孩子们的全面发展提供更坚实的保障。

         Sanya Foreign Language School No.2 Kindergarten will continue to strengthen home-school collaboration through similar parent workshops, ensuring the effective implementation of educational policies and providing a stronger foundation for the comprehensive development of the children.
